Glossy neutral tones reflected on the stone- look tiles conceive a perception of depth that makes the surroundings feel like a real getaway. Soft, recessed lighting further adds to the beautifully intimate feeling of a personal wellness sanctuary. ▲ Small turned spacious Clever space planning comes into place for the original kitchen, which was not large to begin with. Shiin proposed to separate it into two zones – dry and wet– and she hacked away the internal wall. This paves the way for a more spacious kitchen conducive for cooking, food preparation and serving the entire family. Beautiful symmetry The foyer is decked with two rows of carpentry works that conceal the doorway to the bomb shelter on the right,and shoe storage on the left. A thoughtful design detail that Shiin included is a settee for the homeowners to put on their footwear in comfort.
