RCMA
19 Message Ang Wei Neng 洪维能 议员 MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT (MP) FOR WEST COAST GRC This year, I am glad that RCMA is further strengthening its efforts and initiatives to educate homeowners on the importance of choosing the right renovation partner. Their involvement in HDB BTO Roadshows helps to spread awareness on how to facilitate a smooth renovation experience for both first-time homeowners and design professionals alike. RCMA has been working with CaseTrust over the years to accredit trust worthy renovation contractors so as to offer more assurance to Singaporeans on their home renovations. More importantly, RCMA takes upon themselves to educate homeowners about fair and ethical renovation practices. When needed, RCMA could also step in to advise, mediate and resolve any renovation problems and disputes between RCMA members and their clients in a fair and objective manner. Through its efforts and intervention, RCMA will like to drive the renovation industry to be more transparent for the benefits of all Singaporeans. This fourth edition of the RCMA guidebook not only marks how far RCMA has progressed, it is also a testament of how well it has been received by homeowners when they renovate their homes. The guidebook aims to provide updated essential and comprehensive renovation tips for the year ahead despite of COVID-19. We also welcome feedback from all stakeholders so that we can continue to improve the contents of the guidebook. I will like to congratulate the efforts of RCMA and I look forward to more exciting developments in the coming years.
