97 Living Area An ark-like form takes centrestage in the living area and it comprises of a complete ensemble of the TV console, storage and showcase cabinets. Adding visual interest to the living zone with its soothing and shapely details, the choice of light-hued laminates for the custom- built fixture provides a modern counterpoint. The designers also went with mostly closed storage compartments with a few standout open shelving details to keep the overall look sleek and understated. Common Bedroom A bedroom and playroom all rolled in one, the custom-built bunk bed offers its little occupant a fun-filled haven. It echoes the boat-like style accents in the living room and is finished with rustic wood-look laminates. Cut-out details on the bottom bunk’s doors and steps define each area of this well-conceptualised ‘boathouse’ fixture. To create an outstanding ensemble of open showcase cabinets, the designers adhered to the ark-inspired theme and created arresting forms which resemble the windows of a boathouse. They also worked in a study table bearing similar laminate finishes to complete the look.
